Biometrics
Gallagher access control's biometric integration unlocks a world of functionality that enhances site security, monitors time and attendance, assists with emergency evacuations, and maintains occupancy information. Biometrics allow hygienic contactless access without the need for cards or key fobs, challenge permissions from secured spaces (to deter tailgating/piggybacking), and provide an audit trail for reporting.
Designed for flexibility, the Gallagher access control provides an additional level of safety by communicating with the Command Centre to screen employees for elevated body temperature at the medial canthus (tear duct) and detect face masks. This can be incorporated as part of the scan-in process or at the entrance door to ensure that only appropriately screened personnel enter commercial sites.
The VisionPass integration offers seamless contactless biometric enrollment with template management conducted directly within the Command Centre. This enables secure contactless facial recognition access through doors using IDEMIA Morpho VisionPass readers. These advanced devices feature spoof prevention, fake finger detection, and duress fingerprint detection.
